No fewer than 25 female journalists and media practitioners from across Edo State participated in a two-day intensive training workshop focused on Women, Peace and Security (WPS), Youth, Peace and Security (YPS), and conflict-sensitive reporting. The workshop was organized by  West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP)-Nigeria in partnership with Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP) and support from Global Affairs Canada whose commitment is to advancing the women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda. The interactive sessions focused on  Emerging Threats to Peace before, during and after the 2023 General Elections in South-South Region, Nigeria.  We had ten (10) weekly episodes from 19 th  January – 23 rd  March, 2023. We sincerely appreciate the discussants that were majorly drawn from the South-South States in addition to those outside the region and in diaspora. We focused on Emerging Threats to Peace in 2023 General Elections, South-South, Nigeria.
