An aspirant seeking to represent Oredo Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Lion (Prince) Osadebamwen Monday Okoro, has successfully participated in the party’s screening exercise alongside other aspirants contesting various elective positions.

Following the screening process, Lion Okoro joined fellow aspirants on a courtesy visit to former Governor of Kano State and prominent chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

The visit, according to party sources, provided an avenue for consultations, interactions, and discussions on party unity, national development, and strategies aimed at strengthening effective representation and good governance across the country.

Observers noted that the engagement further demonstrated the party’s commitment to internal democracy, inclusiveness, and continuous stakeholder consultations ahead of future political activities and elections.

Lion (Prince) Osadebamwen Monday Okoro, a grassroots politician and humanitarian leader, is among aspirants seeking to emerge as the party’s candidate for the Oredo Federal Constituency seat.

More updates are expected as political consultations and party activities continue to unfold.
